As the city of Moore continues to grow, we as a city must keep up with the infrastructure.  I will continue to push forward for the rebuilding of streets that are 40 years old.  When we rebuild streets/intersections we will build them to accommodate larger traffic counts to handle future growth. o   The city recently completed a comprehensive study of our aging water system.  Over the next 30 years the city will have to spend over 100 million dollars to replace 60-year-old water lines, building a new water tower to insure we have adequate water pressure throughout the city.  

            The city has just completed building its fourth fire station.  All the fire stations in Moore are brand new. We have a new Police Station, Municipal court, 911 call center and Emergency Operation Center. o   New fire engines, police cars and an Emergency Mobile Command vehicle. · We need to build a new Training Facility for our Police and Fire personal.  Currently we have to use the City of Norman, Oklahoma County Sheriff Office or the Moore/Norman Technology Center.  We need our own training facilities so our emergency services staff can train more frequently.  

        The city has made and continues to make improvements to all the city parks.  We are currently upgrading and adding additional space at The Station.  This space will expand the area for additional exercise equipment.  We have added Pickle Ball quarts at Kiwanis Park.  Upgrades to Buck Thomas Park (12th Street Park), including improved sports fields, restrooms, scoreboards, seating, and additional safety improvements.
